CCC Information Services Inc. Signs Agreement with AutoTrader.com

Relationship Supplies CCC With Listing Data On More Than 3 Million Unique Vehicles; Further Strengthens Industry’s Leading Valuation Solution

CCC Information Services Inc. and AutoTrader.com, the ultimate automotive marketplace, today announced an agreement that further strengthens CCC’s ability to provide fast, accurate, local market values(R) for total loss vehicles. CCC is a leading supplier of information technology to the auto-claims industry.
Under the agreement, CCC will integrate AutoTrader.com’s expansive database of more than three million vehicle listings with its CCC Valuescope(R) product, which already includes ‘real steel’ data from more than 800,000 physically inspected vehicles and information on advertised vehicles from more than six million dealer and private ads. The AutoTrader.com data will be incorporated into CCC Valuescope beginning in April.
“CCC is always looking for ways to enhance its products and create more value for customers,” said Mike Croxton, senior vice president of marketing and product management for CCC. “In working with AutoTrader.com we are expanding our database with information our customers are asking for, providing them with a clear view of available vehicles at the time of loss, as well as the ability to better serve their insured.”
“AutoTrader.com and CCC share a commitment to putting current, accurate data at the fingertips of our customers,” said Chip Perry, president and CEO, AutoTrader.com. “And, with over three million vehicle listings, our database has grown to become among the industry’s most powerful vehicle listing resource. Real world valuations are just one of the many ways we’ve been able to connect customers with the data they seek.”
